Work continues to progress, slowly but surely, on our commitment to assist in the rebuilding of the school in Thame.

If you remember our intention is to work with the Thame Sherpa Heritage Fund and a team of Swiss architects to build a school and student dormitory that is earthquake resilient and culturally and environmentally sensitive.

This is the visualisation of how the dormitory will look.

To date construction plans are complete as are material specifications. These plans are currently with Nepali engineering companies to provide a cost estimate and to make a plan for construction. We hope that the project breaks ground this year and that the Thame community has a new functioning school in 2017. As this project progresses we will continue to keep you informed.
